Neuropsychological correction (neurocorrection) is a methodic set of exercise applied to prevent abnormal development of mental function in children of 3-12 years old. Neurocorrection at the CBS promotes improvement of perception, understanding, memory and many other functions of the brain, disorders in the work of which were identified during the examination.
Nowadays, the effectiveness of neuropsychological support for children with these pathologies has already been proven, so parents want to empower their child by providing him or her with more harmonious personal development through neurocorrection.
It is recommended that all preschool and junior school children get an opinion of a Neuropsychologist. After the diagnostic procedure, the neuropsychological correction specialist will provide information on the child's characters, the degree of development of his/her higher mental functions, and indicate what to pay closer attention to and how to eliminate these problems.

As we have already mentioned, neuropsychological correction is the best for children 3-12 years old. An earlier start of the therapy guarantees faster results. Most often, they are seen already after 2-3 months of sessions, and the maximum is after 7-9 months. However, it should be noted that in the case of more serious disorders, in which the child's development is much slower than usual, the results after neurocorrection can be seen in some months or years.
Neuropsychological correction for children with episyndromes and hemiplegia should be done with caution. Also, neurocorrection is not prescribed if there is a profound degree of mental retardation and if the child's lower and upper extremities do not work. In this case, neurocorrection exercises make no sense.
Neurocorrection sessions usually take place in the form of a game. The specialist offers the child individually selected motor exercises for sensorimotor correction, breathing exercises, exercises for the development of speech, articulation and others necessary to eliminate psychological pathologies and corrections.
Thanks to this complex, the brain zones are activated in a certain sequence, making up for developmental "errors" in a natural way. Correction begins in infancy: the neuropsychologist encourages the child to repeat the natural movements of a normally developing infant: moving the arms, legs, holding a toy, cuddling, squeezing objects, etc. After mastering them, the functionality of the brain structures should be restored and work in the correct sequence.
Coping with movement control skills the child has an opportunity to overcome pathological features of his or her development: it may be an adaptation to other children in a group of kindergarten or class, difficulties encountered in school, the inability to control and cope with his or her emotions, etc.

У моей дочери Кати РАС уже пять лет, мы можно сказать боремся за полноценную жизнь. В этой борьбе самое главное - найти грамотного специалиста. Обойдя множество клиник, нам наконец-то повезло. Огромное спасибо очень хорошему доктору Халевич Ю.А. Проходим уже третий курс нейрокоррекции в ЦМС. Ребенку очень нравятся все процедуры и занятия. А самое главное, положительный результат. Спасибі величезне всьому персоналу клініки, також хочу відзначити саму обстановку, все чисто охайно, нове обладнання, одним словом все для людей. Дитина на заняття йде із задоволенням, поки про результати говорити рано, ми тільки пройшли дві процедури, але нам все подобається.

Ми прийшли в ЦСМ з дитиною з діагнозом аутизм. Син дуже примхливий, важко йде на контакт. Халевіч Юлія Олександрівна з перших хвилин змогла зацікавити його, знайшла якусь приховану кнопочку до нього. Тимур спокійно йде на заняття, слухає, грає. І після занять набагато спокійніше, а вчора попросив пластилін, наліпив багато різних фігурок. Спасибі вам величезне.
